When farmers from a previous ADRA project in Ghana faced undercutting by buyers, it became more profitable for them to burn their cashew trees for charcoal. We decided it was time to turn that story around and bring sustainability full circle. Now, fair prices for their cashews uplift both the farmers and their entire community.
